It can be a huge safety and liability issue to leave a horse trailer with horses on it unattended

It can be a huge safety and liability issue to leave a horse trailer with horses on it unattended on a BC Ferry. It's hot and noisy down on that car deck. BC Ferries and Transport Canada are going to make it against the rules to remain on the lower car deck with your horses and trailer during ferry travel. IMO this could be a potentially dangerous situation. Are there other horses owners or commercial haulers who are concerned about this decision or am I the only one? Does HCBC have a position on this on behalf of BC horse owners?
