"I CAN HELP" Horse First Aid for Kids July 12/17 4pm to 8pm
This is a great 3-hour course for your kids! Developed for children between 5-12 years old this course teaches kids about: horse safety; rules of first aid; what's not normal; weighing a horse; cuts; tummy troubles; eyes & nose; healthy feet; tips for good health; what goes in a first aid kit; bandaging and much more.
No previous horse experience is necessary. This course includes hands on learning with horses. Course numbers are kept small for lots of one on one assistance and safety. Each participant receives a workbook full of information & activities and a Certificate of Completion.
Cost = $59/person
Designed for kids 12 & under, this simplified version of our Equine Emergency Certified Course. "I CAN HELP" provides hands on experience, Included a take home handbook filled with information, games, puzzles even a yummy recipe for horse treats and a frameable certificate of completion. The course takes approximately 3 hours and the Kids gain confidence and knowledge about Equine First Aid in a structured fun interactive setting....
This is a great opportunity for 4H and pony clubs, summer camps, etc. and can be taught in an evening or on a weekend.
