Helping horse lovers improve the health and safety of horses by providing emergency first aid training
EnJ Equine First Aid and Short Stirrup Stables is offering 2018 Introduction to Equine first aid and farm safety specifically designed for us here at Short Stirrup stables and opening up this clinic outside of our riding group.
Great clinic for our horse crazy kiddos and even for you parents of our horse crazy kids wanting a better understanding of the safety in and around the farms and horses.
The teachings will cover how to deal with equine emergencies. Topics include taking vitals, first aid bandaging, information on colic, choke, foot issues and so much more!
Combination power point presentation and hands-on work with horses. All participants receive a certificate of completion, a first aid manual and peace of mind!
The course runs Feb 11 2018 from 1pm to 4pm with a super interactive hands on approach. Which includes all vitals, gentle stretches, back pain detection, weighing the , 4 scenarios and we actually treat the horses with vet wrap and more.
Power Points includes hoof issues, choke, colic and more.
Everyone that registers will get a book to keep, a barn cheat card with vitals on it normal vs abnormal and a certificate with their name on it that expires every 3 years.
