Crippen Regional Park

Day Ride Trail
A 20 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay lands you on Bowen Island. Bowen is a paradise of trails, from relatively easy loops around Killarney Lake in Crippen Regional Park to the burning climb up Mount Gardner. The island is a world unto itself, so take the time to explore and revel in Bowen's sedated pace.

Several access points to park trails surround Snug Cove on Bowen Island. Bowen Island is serviced by the BC Ferries Corporation. There are 5 km of equine trails in Crippen Regional Park. Telephone BC Ferries, (604) 669-1211, for sailing times on the Queen of Capilano from Horseshoe Bay to Bowen Island, which carries 85 vehicles.
