Day Ride Trail
Located in Rock Creek, BC the Kettle River Trails were developed to allow for non motorized recreational activities. These trails are now registered as such and are accessible from the Rock Creek Fairgrounds. Horsemen and hikers alike will love the trails and scenery, tranquility and natural surroundings. This was the site of a the Back Country Horsemen Rendezvous in 2009, 2010 and 2011

**Please be advised that portions of the trails actually traverse into the Kettle Wildlife Association (KWA) Gun Range. The perimeter of the gun range is well posted in the field, but it has come to our attention that trail users are still entering into the gun range area. As such, these individuals are at tremendous risk of injury or death. Email address of [email protected]. Contact Anita Castle or Rob Gill. Camping is $17 per night and dogs are allowed in the "livestock/horse campground". Outhouses and water available. There are stalls for rent at $15/night. Panels are $5 each/day plus a $100 cash deposit.

From Hwy 3 at Rock Creek, turn onto Hwy 33, then right on S. Kettle Valley Road to cross the Kettle River. S. Kettle Valley Road then turns right, continue until you reach the fairgrounds. If coming from Kelowna on Hwy 33, turn left on S. Kettle Valley Road before you reach Hwy 3 junction.

A comfortable, private, riverside Rock Creek vacation house nestled between the Kettle River, Kettle River Trails and the Historic Kettle Valley Rail Trail. A peaceful country paradise, yet close to the town of Rock Creek. Located next to the Fairgrounds, (with Rodeo arena) and across from 50 miles of marked, mapped trails, there are fabulous riding and hiking/biking opportunities. Galvanized corrals, water and trail maps provided. Enjoy swimming, fishing and tubing from a private sandy beach. Tons of additional parking opposite the Fairgrounds, in the shade of gorgeous Ponderosa pines. No underbrush, just dry clean grass footing. Acres of space for high lining, tenting, or to park your RVs/motor-home, horse trailers etc. Rock Creek also offers a terrific little coffee shop with their own coffee roaster and home made healthy foods and snacks. We have 2 gas stations/ general stores, one with an excellent bakery, deli. Also a nice old funky Pub that offers decent food. No need to pack so much food when you come here to enjoy the trails!
