The High Point trails can be accessed through Campbell Valley Park, or there is a small but nice area to park a trailer on the High Point property (past the equestrian center on 200th St, on the left side as you head south, well marked). The trail takes off either just to the north of the parking lot, or you can cross the road to the west and follow it from there. Either way, you will make a loop. The footing is packed gravel, and the trails are very wide. They have a gentle uphill slope as you head south. They meander, albeit sometimes confusingly, through the estates. At this point in time, be prepared to occasionally come across construction on the houses near the trail. The nice aspect to these trails are that there are some incredible valley views as you ride around the southern edge of the system, which parallels 0 Ave. The downside is that the segments of trail are divided frequently by metal step-over barriers. Even if your horse is fine with these, it really breaks up the ride. If your horse doesn't handle these barriers well, your ride will not be fun. There is no map, and although you can easily figure out how to loop around, if you try some of the cutoff trails you can end up looping around certain places twice. In some places you have to ride on the road for short sections to connect trails.
