Matsqui Trail Regional Park

Day Ride Trail
Matsqui trail contains 14 km of the Trans Canada Trail. The dyke that forms the base for part of the Matsqu Trail exists to provide flood protection for agriculture and residences in Matsqui Prairie. You may encounter trucks or other maintenance vehicles on the dyke. A noteworthy feature of Matsqui trail is the agreement with Matsqui First Nation permitting the trail to pass through their lands west of Glenmore Road. Please avoid trespassing by staying on the trail. Horses are not permitted in the Mission Bridge Picnic area.

Horse trailer parking at three locations. From Abbotsford, B.C. access to the Olund trailhead is off Harris road about half mile east of the Mt Lehman road junction with Harris road. Access to the Page Road trailhead at the end of Page Road. Near the Mission Bridge, the equestrian trailhead is on Tall Road.

I see the map calls it Dave Taylor Park but the correct name is Douglas Taylor - so don't be confused.

For a longer ride you can park at Douglas Taylor Park off Harris Rd and ride east to the bridge.
