Goat River Trail

Back Country Trail
Information on equestrian access has been requested. Originally cleared in 1886, this historic trail was once a trade route between Barkervile and the upper Fraser. The Goat River watershed is a tributary of the upper Fraser River located approximately 35 kilometres northwest of McBride, BC. Logging has taken place in the lower watershed for several decades, leaving only the upper portion of the watershed undeveloped.
