Lighthouse Country Trail

Day Ride Trail
A quaint community trail that runs in a loop through a deep-forested area near Qualicum Bay. The best area for horseback riding is the north loop, attached to the Wildwood Community Park. Take a step away from the beach and walk, run or ride the north and south loops of the Lighthouse Country Regional Trail (LCRT) located in Bowser and Qualicum Bay. The level grade and connection to more trails in the surrounding Crown forest and Wilson Family Woodlot make it easy for everyone to get out and get active while enjoying the beauty of our rare Coastal Douglas-fir forest.

Is any part of the trail(s) suitable for cross-country driving vehicle use - trying to find locations off-road where my horse can be driven in the Mid-Island area.
