Some sections of the Campbell connector trail is over grown & difficult to pass. However there is another connector trail between the upper and lower logging roads (southeast linkup between fsr's). Can also park at the end of Johnson St. and ride these fsr's, which offer some views of Miracle Valley and Stave Lake. Doreen's trail to Pike's Pond is not suitable for horses (off the fsr). Steelhead also offers Hunter FSR off the end of Roach/Sabo St (trailer parking limited here...park at Smith Ave & Roach St). These frs's offer a number of lookouts (but can be busy with hikers). Hoover Lake FSR also offers great views of Stave Lake. This location: park on Dewdney Trunk 32000 across the street from the Mission Landfill. Horses can only go on the logging roads and not on the Hoover Lake hiking trail around the lake. Note: All of these are a climb up fsr's and gain elevation.
