| Introduction: | CAA credentialed Driving Instructor, and Driver Proficiency Program Evaluator, Josh Hoyles, comes to us for 2 days of hands-on learning, held over two Sundays. This is designed to be informative for new drivers as well as experienced drivers wanting a refresher.
April 16: Covers harness fit, types of harnesses, part names and their wear points, order of harnessing, bit fitting and styles for driving, whip handling, line of draft, rein handling with a rein board, driver's position and MORE! You are encouraged to bring your horse and harness to this event. The more harness examples we have, the more we can discuss. Demo horses, ponies and harness will be provided. |
