Trauma Informed coaching (TIC) Series - Coaching the Fearful Rider
Presented by Megan Pinfield
I have been practicing as a clinical counsellor since 2002. I have worked in both public and private post-secondary counselling centers, human resources departments and private clinical practice. In addition to my counselling practice I also teach graduate level counselling students at Adler University.
I believe that our past influences our present, but it doesn’t have to impact it negatively moving forward. We are all continually changing and growing as we encounter new people, new experiences and new solutions. My goal is to help you make the changes you want to in your life as effectively as possible. I believe in using evidence based treatments so you get the best help possible
A series of 4 separate workshops designed to give Equestrian Coaches, of all disciplines, the skills they need to work with Riders from diverse backgrounds experiencing fear, anxiety or trauma related to riding.
Coaches will be provided with model for coaching riders with fear issues that is in line with neuropsychology and learning theory.
This series is designed to be taken sequentially but coaches may opt to register for single sessions if they are not able to attend all 4. The material in each workshop builds on the previous material covered.
