The Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE) & Stampede is an exciting 5-day agricultural fair with a massive impact on the region. With 18 different exhibition divisions including both large and small animals including light horse and heavy horses. Ours is the 2nd largest fair in the province next to the PNE in Vancouver and is a regional event like no other. There are 3 arenas with over 300 classes in light horse, mini horses and heavy horses. We feature both Western and English, as well as the extreme Cowboy Challenge. OUr event includes a multitude of displays and demonstrations, including an Asian market, lumberjack show, blacksmith & farrier shows, mini chuck wagons, educational activities, midway and other interactive family entertainment. We also included a five-day professional rodeo and are proud to be part of the CPRA finals. Community members and fair attendees are educated, enlightened and enriched by their IPE experiences, taking away a greater understanding of agriculture in the Armstrong Spallumcheen area alongside a deeper appreciation of the local talent.
