Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park

Back Country Trail
The Crawford Trails area of Myra-Bellevue Park with over 100km of trails is a popular destination for hikers, runners, horse riders and mountain bikers. All trails are signed, parking is good and the Trans Canada Trail can be accessed from the park. There are many viewpoints looking out towards Kelowna. There are a lot of walkers and bikes on the trestle section. Best to stick to the Crawford Trail network.

Amazing ride from the June Springs Rd trailhead. Rode 2 hours on day one and then 4 hours on the second. Fabulous trail network. no mountain bikes, wonderful views and scenic geography. contact the Okanagan chapter of Back country Horsemen for the trailheads best for horses.

Lovely park to ride in with gorgeous views. Excellent map available. Trails well marked and maintained (overall). Several creeks for water. Footing is rocky for the most part. The West side of the park is quite a bit busier with mountain bikers than the June Springs access. Priest Creek on Balldock rd. is also a nice spot to stage from if the main parking lot is busy on the weekend.

dogs in park? posted on: 07 / 15 / 2014

I live right next to the park and there are no restrictions to my knowledge about loose dogs. Parks have said if there are no problems, dogs are fine (off leash) in control of their owners. Wonderful trails and exceedingly well marked. A lot of steep trail and rock. Recommend that horses be shod. Parking for rigs is good at the trail head. No overnight camping - however perhaps one could overnight at the Kelowna Riding club. Happy Trails!
