Dwights Loop

Horse Camping Site
This trail is named after Dwight Dodge, who was inspirational in keeping the Collins Overland Telegraph Trail cleared from 1953 to 2016. This trail offers a variety of scenery, including 7 creek crossings. This is a technical trail where you will see artifacts including a wooden culvert and Telegraph wire.

There is ample parking at the COTT Trailhead for 6 rigs
There are 2 camping sites, 2 outhouses, and 2 20x24 paddocks, picnic table and fire pit.
There is an information kiosk with information about the trail.

From Quesnel cross the bridge to West Quesnel and take the Nazko Highway turn-off. Continue past the golf course and up past Bouchie Lake School, turn right onto Blackwater road, about 9.5KM turn right at COTT Trailhead road for 300 meters to a parking/picnic area. Park here and explore the trail
