This campsite is conveniently located less than 1km away from the Telegraph Trail. If you are wanting to pack horses for an overnight trip, this is a great campsite that is only a 23 km from the COTT horse campground.

Telegraph lake: Great site! posted on: 07 / 01 / 2026

This site was obviously created with care. I have been hiking sections of the telegraph trail and this is a wonderful spot to stop. I am considering it as a base count for a longer hike. Is it recognized as an official rec site in BC? It is not listed on the sites and trails website amd is not mamed in myapbook. This site is on the Collin’s Overland Telegraph Trail which is recognized by RSTBC. Back Country Horsemen have been maintaining it under a partnership agreement until 2026 which might change. Hope this helps.
