Highland House Ranch is a rustic oasis in a rural setting that offers a quiet getaway with your horse and family. We are surrounding be mountains, lakes and Forests with beautiful trails. The perfect starting point for any outdoor enthusiasts regardless of your choice of outdoor adventure. Pens are 12'x 12' metal pens 4 currently. No outhouse currently. Dry camping available with drive through entrance near to the pens. Water close by. Sani Dump is 1.3KM from dry camping. We also have a Licensed Certified EC Coach on site for anyone who would like to book time with them regarding any horse development programs that would be running through out the summer. We are located approx 3Km from the District of Logan Lake, the heart of the Highland Valley - Just South of Kamloops. For those of you would prefer a little more luxury, our B&B is 4,700 Sq Ft consisting of 4 Luxury Bedrooms, each room complete with a four piece bathroom in each room, spacious living room and dining area with a view of 25 acres of Relaxation. 80ft round Pen available as well as a 80ft x 180 ft sand ring. NOTE: TRAILS can be rocky at the best of times depending which trails you take. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMEND you have shoes or boots on your horse for the terrain up here in the interior mountains.

Depending on what package you choose, Dry Camp, or Camping with electrical, or Glamping in our BnB will determine where parking will be. Please call prior to trip for instructions.
Please call and reserve ahead. Jill @ 250-318-8397 I have Dry Camping and I have limited power sited depending on your needs or requirements.

From Merritt, BC - Take Highways 97C to Logan Lake. 8615 Tunkwa Lake Road and we are approx 1.3 km from the intersection of Highway 97C and 97D. From Kamloops,BC - Take Highway 5 South, exit Logan Lake Highway 97D to Town of Logan Lake. Turn Right on Tunkwa Lake Road and we are approx 1.3 from the intersection of Highway 97C and 97D

Highland House Ranch a favorite for camping with horses posted on: 04 / 19 / 2023

My friend and myself have camped here with our horses a number of times. Trail access is great and although a little rocky until you get into the cross country trails it was never a problem for our horses. Trails are well marked and you can go for hours with lots of variety in the terrain. Lots of areas to trot and canter. Highland House had nice shady pens for our horses, easy water access and also electricity in some spots for our camper. We love the beautiful views and friendly atmosphere. Going back this year!
