Loggers Creek Trail

Day Ride Trail
This is an excellent multi-use trail right close to the town of Squamish. There are many intersecting paths and roads that provide access to this trail. Loggers Creek Trail is a short all-purpose trail that leads into a small section of the backwood forest area north of the Squamish Village town centre. The level, well groomed, easy grade hiking trail route is only 1.8 Km in length and ultimately connects to Brennan Park.

From the trailhead marker on Logger's Lane Road, the hard-packed, earthy trail snakes through the forest and lush vegetation eventually bumping into Logger's Creek. The distance to the creek from the trailhead is only 0.6 Km. A mere 10 minute walk for most. Once arriving at the creek, the wilderness setting is inviting and calming. There is something about tall pine trees swaying, the sound of the tumbling water pouring over rounded boulders and birds singing high above unseen that gets to a person. The creek will provide a few peaceful moments for all who visit. Keep your head up. The trail is accessed by many activity enthusiasts like horseback riders, mountain bikers, hikers and dog walkers. All enjoy this popular short cut trail so it is important to respect all who use the trail. The Logger's Creek Trail is a connector trail in a way because it intersects with the community areas around Finch Drive and Brennan Park. From the trailhead on Logger's Lane Finch Avenue is only 1.0 Km away. Trail Access - One trailhead is located on Logger's Lane Road just south of the Smoke Bluffs. There is no parking lot so the brown post trail marker can be easily missed on the side of the road. It is best to park in the Smoke Bluffs parking lot and walk to the trailhead marker. Another trailhead is located in Brennan Park.

Parking at the Smoke Bluffs parking lot would not be advisable as there isn't enough room to turn around or park with a horse trailer on any given busy day. there is good parking however, between the ball fields just a short distance down Logger's Lane, past the 4 way stop on your left. this is also very near the Civic Centre so please remember to remove any manure off the Valley trail and side trails as there are many other users and some are just looking for an excuse to get horses out of Squamish! and Yes, we have tons of great trails in this area!
