Basically, horses are permitted on the Boundary Bay Dyke between 17A Street and 112 th Street, in the municipality of Delta. Further riding along the dyke goes to Surrey at Mud Bay Park, where you can continue from 112th Street. The dyke offers about 16 km of riding and access points are at 64, 72, 104 Streets, and Mud Bay. Please note, there is no horseback riding permitted in the Centennial Beach area between 12th Ave and South to the Park Boundary at the main Centennial Beach and concession area. These trails are not made for horses and there are serious hazards below the high tide line where it can be very muddy, and in the past people and horses have been stuck in the mud and injured. Stay on trails, watch for boggy areas where a horse can get stuck.
