Red Mountain Trail Network The Red Mt. Trail network consists of two multi-use trails, one hiking trail and various logging roads with opportunities to view the Steelhead/Stave area. Red Mt. Bypass - Multi-use trail Park on the east side of Dewdney Trunk Road at Mill Pond. Cross the road and start at the bypass trail just south of the entrance to the Rod and Gun Club. The bypass trail is approx. 0.6 km and provides access to the logging road network. Red Mt. West - Multi-use trail Park off Caswell Road (off Shaw St and Keystone Road. Red Mt East trail is a 3.7 km loop which joins the logging road, passes by commercial thinning operation (1996) and returns to Caswell Rd. Red Mt. Trail - Hiking only Central to the south logging road is a 1.3 km loop trail that is designated for hiking only due to the soil sensitivity. No horses or mt. bikes please! 3.9 km return from Dewdney Trunk and bypass.

There are many undesignated trails with no exits. The trails are marked with orange route indicators and signs. Please do not trespass on private property. For your safety please keep to the marked trail! All users are encouraged to keep off the trail during inclement weather to protect the trail surfaces.

nice trails, some tight spots, watch your knees. But mostly watch out for Mtn Bikes. Lots of rock - horses need shoes or boots
