The Vancouver Island Hunter Jumper Association (VIHJA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development and promotion of hunter, jumpers and hunt seat equitation on southern Vancouver Island, BC. VIHJA is committed to expanding and enhancing local equestrian competitions, clinics and learning opportunities for our members.
Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association
Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association (VTRA) was formed in 1982 to provide a therapeutic riding experience to children and adults with diverse abilities throughout the Greater Victoria area. Today, VTRA is a non-profit charitable organization that uses horseback riding as a recognized therapeutic aid and offers a variety of equine-assisted activities to more than 200 children and adults throughout the region. VTRA is made up of a volunteer board, a small staff team of 10 and more than 275 volunteers who, through their dedicated contribution of time, enable participants to benefit each week.
