Horse Camping Site
Wells Gray has some excellent horseback riding trails and camping is offered at the Wells Grey RV and Golf Resort just outside the Park. Horse Use is permitted in many areas of the Park. A new map of the equestrian trails is now available in the Maps tab and in Avenza. The Green Mountain trail system, in the Corridor Area is open to horse use. there are several companies along the Wells Gray Park Road offer guided horse riding and the park offers a number of other recreational opportunities. N thompson Chapter of BCHBC help to maintain the EQ trails through a Partnership Agreement with BC Parks.

Yes, water is available at the golf Resort and there is a creek beside the horse camping area.
The parking at the Well Gray Resort is an large open area. You can camp by the corrals and creek or over where you can hi-line. See photo of camping area.
The Wells Gray RV and Golf Resort is private and is just outside park boundaries. Contact directly for reservations. and current rates. Amenities include flush toilets, showers. and water. There are 20 corrals, high lining is also available. There are no camping facilities for equestrian use inside park boundaries.
The trails are within the park boundaries. Horse Use is permitted in many areas of the Park. these trails include: the Flat Iron, Hemp Creek Canyon Lands, Hoodoo Rim Trail, Green Mountain, White Horse Bluffs, Tote Road, Still water, Majerus, Blackwater, and Bee Farm. The Green Mountain trail system, in the Corridor Area is open to horse use. Companies along the Wells Gray Park Road offer guided horse riding and the park offers a number of other recreational opportunities (including guided horseback tours). For more information and important visitors notices please visit the BC Parks website . You can also apply for a permit to travel into the Battle Mtn/ Table Mtn area, but it is heavily dependent on conditions and heavily regulated. May also be cancelled with 24 hrs notice.

Park can be accessed off Hwy #5 at Clearwater or turn off Hwy 97 at 100 Mile House. Murtle Lake is accessed off highway 5 at Blue River. For more details, see description of various areas of the park. Wells Grey Golf & RV Resort - 6624 Clearwater Valley Rd, Clearwater, BC

There are excellent camping facilities for horses at Wells Gray Golf Course. On the creek, with showers and toilets.
