Oliver Crrek trail posted on: 05 / 19 / 2014
I haven't rode on this trail for quite awhile but not to put a rush on the horses and a nice lunch break at the first cabin it took us about 9 hours up and back because of elevation increase. One needs to give the horses lots of breaks. I have hiked it so know how difficult the breathing can be. I have rode right to above treeline, from there you can take the Flint Creek trail back but need someone to bring horse trailers for pick up. Check out Inar Blix hiking book for details, Trails to Timberline. Also the Terrace BC hiking club for recent updates on trail. I noticed that the park has put up a new sign at the hwy 16. I have been up the Oliver Creek trail several times on horseback to above tree line. I was wondering if there has been any work done to the bridge ?
