Kettle Valley Railway Naramata

Other
This rail bed trail at Naramata goes all the way to Kelowna and has a length of 80 km. This section of trial is maintained by Naramata Parks. Along the way expect to pass through Little Tunnel. Do not enter Adra Tunnel however because of safety reasons. Look for the rock ovens located in Rock Oven Park and wonderful views of Okanagan Lake. This trail also offers picnic tables, benches and a Gazebo with a gradual elevation. Steady and easy downhill (2% slope) ride from Chute Lake to Naramata and onward to Penticton. Beautiful vistas and many points of interest; rock ovens, remains of old stations and two tunnels, one closed (Adra Tunnel) and one open near Naramata (Little Tunnel). Part of the Trans Canada Trail, there is lots of history and nostalgia here. Interpretive signs, toilets and benches are placed along the trail. There are hiking/cycling trails leading from the KVR Naramata Section; see Ladybug Trail (walking only), Woodwackers Trail, the Tote Road and the Horseshoe Trail. The trail is maintained by the Naramata Woodwacker volunteers, funded by the Naramata Parks and Recreation Commission.

Other points of access are on the Chute Lake Road, at Glenfir about 3 kilometers from the Chute Lake turn-off, at the TV Tower Road at about 7 kilometers and at Chute Lake Resort at 10 kilometers.
