Parking at the Houston entrance can be tight if there are many cars in the lot. Be sure to park your rig so that visitors arriving after you do not block you in. It is normally best to get turned around facing the entranceway before you leave to go riding.
There is no equestrian camping at Derby Reach Regional Park.
The Houston Trail is the only trail for equestrians.

Horse trailers enter from the Houston Trailhead entrance on McKinnon. Use 232nd St to head north from #1 freeway and on to Fort Langley following the signs. From Fort Langley village, follow 96th Ave west from Glover Road for 1.5 km. At a curve in the road, turn right onto McKinnon Crescent. Continue straight for 1.2 km, passing a 'no exit' sign before turning right into the Huston Trailhead parking lot. (The Heritage Area parking lot on Allard and the Fort to Fort Trail are closed to equestrians.)
