Nelson & District Riding Club

The Nelson and District Riding Club is located 15 minutes west of Nelson, BC. Tall larch, fir and poplar trees provide homes for squirrels, birds and bats and the local deer can often be seen browsing in the field. The facility boasts 3 arenas, a round pen, housing for 39 horses and 6 serviced campsites. Whether you're looking for a place to ride your horse, book a horsey event or camp with your equine friends your sure to find what you’re looking for at the NDRC. This is a facility where we have hosted a wide variety of disciplines: Dressage and jumping shows, gymkhanas, obstacles, driving clinics, ropine clinics and more thought the year.

Sunshine Bay Riding Club

The Sunshine Bay Riding Club was formed by a small group of horse enthusiasts residing in the Harrop/Procter and Balfour areas and was registered as a non profit society in 1992. Our mission is to promote and foster the enjoyment and skills of equestrian activities in the Kootenay Lake area.
