Desert Park Equine Facility and Racetrack offers self horse-boarding, spring training for racehorses and various events. Amenities available to members are a large arena, 5/8 mile racetrack, full service horseman's RV park and miles of trails. The facility is available for horse shows, clinics and other events. Desert Park is also home to Desert Dogs Agility, Sun Hills Riding Centre and is an animal evacuation site for ALERT.

The Garnett Valley Gang rob the passengers of the Kettle Valley steam train. in a re-enactment train robbery. This is a charity event that takes place approximately 14 times over the summer.
Inland Draft & Teamsters Association
Interior Draft and Teamsters Association is a club for anyone who has an interest in horses. We are based in Kamloops but have members from all over the Southern Interior. Most of our members have Draft Horses but we also have a few saddle horses and ponies. Our events include Wagon/Sleigh rides, we promote old farming methods with a spring plough & grain planting, a summer hay cutting, a fall grain harvest, a summer camping trip and some members compete in driving competitions and horse pulls.

Kelowna Riding Club is a club for all disciplines. We have a 10 acre facility that includes a dressage ring, two large multi-discipline rings, a lunge ring and stables. We have several membership categories for riders and non-riders, plus equestrians can drop-in to ride with a signed waiver for a $25 fee. The club hosts a number of clinics, shows and educational opportunities each year and both the historic clubhouse and the grounds are available for rentals by the community. We are a refuge to horses, donkies and mules, needing a second chance. For most of our equids this is their "forever home". We also provide clinics on driving and schooling dressage shows. There are a number of volunteers who help with feeding, cleaning and grooming. For some, it is a place for them to heal along with our Old Friends.

The Princeton Riding Club was founded in 2014 to unite all interested horse owners and/or riders in our area. We meet monthly and provide riding opportunities and social events for our members. We host two 2-day Horse Shows per year. One in May focusing on English and Western flat classes and hunter classes. In September one day is for Jumper Classes followed by Dressage Classes the next day. The show are very well attended by equestrians from Oliver, Merritt, Summerland, Penticton and from our own local area. Other events include the 2 Princeton Parades, fun days, clinics, trail rides and social events. Our president is a certified equestrian instructor and coach and our key membership have past experience with the Canadian Pony club, 4-H.

Working Equitation Canada BC Region
Promoting the sport of Working Equitation throughout BC and Canada with a focus on classical horsemanship and the use of horses for ranch work and functionality. Working Equitation is comprised of four phases: Working Dressage, Ease of Handling with Obstacles, Speed (Obstacles) and Cattle Handling. There are eight levels of Working Equitation (WE) from children, Introductory(beginners) to Masters Level (advanced). The children and introductory levels do not include a speed phase. Throughout the province of BC there are several Working Equitation Chapters focused on local clinics and shows.
